Monday 9th January

A rough and ready day for the start of the week with heavy rain moving across Wales from the northwest. This will be accompanied by strong winds so watch out if you’re wearing short skirts or kilts. Once that moves away, colder but brighter weather will move in with the possibility of showers always there. Maximum temperature 10°C.

Down on the farm, Dolly’s was taken to the vets as she thought she was pregnant again. After a thorough examination, and after much embarrassment, it was discovered that she was just suffering from a spot of wind. The vet will certainly think twice before going down to check next time.
