A grey and grumbly day for Wales with fog and low cloud stubbornly refusing to move. Thicker cloud is also likely to rumble across Wales, bringing with it rain and mist and murk. What a grey day. Maximum Temperature 16°C.
Down on the farm, we have been on high alert as heavy fog continues to smother the hills around us. Legend has it that whenever the fog arrives, so too does the mysterious Beast of Brecon. The story goes that if you are out in a field late at night when it’s particularly foggy, the Beast of Brecon will sneak up on you and sit on your face. Imagine the horror! Dolly, ever the cynic, believes that it’s probably Juan the Lovesheep out trying to get a free grope. And she’s probably right.
